Willow Smith Shows Off Her Tongue Piercing As The Photo Sparks Controversy

The New York Daily News reported that the 11-year-old daughter of the couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith flashed a shiny silver stud on her tongue in the Instagram picture.

It is aired as controversial news in the media outlets but the “Whip My Hair” star said, don’t worry about my tongue piercing that it is “fake.” The 11-year-old American actress caused ruckus among her fans over the weekend after posing an Instagram picture of her self sporting a piercing tongue.

In the photo she was captured with a friend, who also flashes her shiny silver stud pierced on her tiny chin. But the precious teenager says the stud isn’t permanent. It is may be “fake” piercing.

“It’s fake…Sorry,” she wrote on picture sharing website after shocked fans criticized the new piece of jewelry. But if there is one thing Smith won’t apologized for, it’s her edgy sense of style.

She is a famous singer of the America, having rocked everything from pink to Freddy Krueger T-shirts on the red carpet events, the bold pre-teen star is not afraid to make fashion statement.

It is reported that the mom and dad of the singer approve her quirky means of self-expression. She said, “She can’t cut my hair but that’s her hair,” Will Smith said about his daughter in a May interview with Parade magazine. “She has got to have command of her body.”

Her dad, Will Smith said, “When you have a little girl, it’s like how can you teach her that you’re in control of her body? If I teach her that I’m in charge of whether or not she can touch her hair, she’s going to replace me with some other man when she goes out in the world.”

He added, “She can’t cut my hair but that’s her hair. She has got to have command of her body,” he added. “So when she goes out into the world, she’s going out with a command that is hers. She is used to making those decisions herself. We try to keep giving them those decisions until they can hold the full weight of their lives.
